What We Do


We help fund early stage companies that have good people and interesting ideas. We focus on technology startups that require capital and support to get their products launched or who want to build on initial customer success to fuel growth. Our investments typically range from $50,000-$500,000.

Advisory Services

Starting and growing a company is difficult, and we have been through it at every level. We offer advisory services to founders and their executive teams with a primary focus on growth strategy and value creation. Our expertise includes product strategy, sales, marketing, branding, messaging, customer acquisition and retention.

Toby Brzoznowski

Managing Director

Toby is an entrepreneur, investor and business advisor with a focus on growth strategy and value creation for early-stage technology startups. His philanthropic focus includes educational access and equity and numerous mental health initiatives.

He was the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of LLamasoft, helping grow the company from a two-person startup to over 700 global employees and a $1.5B acquisition by Coupa. During his time at LLamasoft, he helped bring Supply Chain Design into the corporate mainstream as a key business process and competitive weapon and positioned LLamasoft as a leading global supply chain analytics technology provider.

A frequent presenter and panelist at entrepreneurial business events and supply chain technology forums, Toby has over 25 years of experience in building and growing high-tech businesses, primarily focused on process improvement and analytics. His expertise has been used to launch new technologies into global corporations, the U.S. military, public sector organizations and public health NGO’s. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Don Manfredi


Don has been a coach and teacher most of his adult life. In his career Don has provided executive leadership of global business units, managed the startup and accelerated growth of several technology businesses, led the global marketing team within a high-tech NASDAQ firm, and provided global sales account management to Fortune 500 clients.

In addition to mentoring startups at the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer, Don provides sales, marketing, strategy, and leadership services to small and medium-sized companies. Don is also an Adjunct Professor at Lawrence Technological Universities College of Business and Information Technology where he teaches marketing.
